Hawke's Bay Foundation is a community foundation with the underlying principle that responsibility begins at a local level. We believe that people want to support causes that are close to home, and often close to the heart.

Hawke's Bay Foundation allows you to:

Donate during your lifetime - have the pleasure of seeing your money make a difference and receive the benefit of qualifying tax credits up to 33%.Specify your preferred charities and causes, or let the trustees decide where your money is best needed.Have confidence in the experience and skills of our carefully selected, voluntary Board of Trustees.

When you give to Hawke's Bay Foundation your capital remains intact, unless you decide otherwise. It is invested in perpetuity, with income being distributed to charities each year. The income from the funds supports your local community every year, forever. In this way it truly is a gift that keeps on giving.
